Residents must live in a community currently contracted with us.

Property managers must have an executed service agreement with NightHawk Elite Service Valet.

You may use our website for lawful purposes only.

You agree not to misuse our site, interfere with its operation, or attempt unauthorized access.

Any materials on our site (text, images, logos, etc.) are owned by NightHawk Elite Service Valet and may not be copied, sold, or redistributed without written permission.

4. Service Rules for Residents
Residents must follow community-specific trash guidelines provided by property management or posted on our website.

Trash must be properly bagged, tied, and placed outside during designated service times only.

Oversized or prohibited items (such as furniture, hazardous waste, or electronics) require special pickup arrangements.

Failure to follow guidelines may result in warnings, service refusal, or fees as outlined by the community or property manager.

5. Payments
Residents do not pay NightHawk Elite Service Valet directly unless otherwise stated; service fees are typically included in rent or community charges.

Property managers are responsible for payments under their contractual agreement with us.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services if payments are not received on time.

6. Limitation of Liability
While we strive to provide reliable and timely service, NightHawk Elite Service Valet is not responsible for:

Items damaged due to improper bagging or prohibited materials.

Delays or missed pickups caused by severe weather, unsafe conditions, or events beyond our control.

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website or services.

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question.

Please ensure all trash bags are tightly tied to prevent spills or leaks during pickup.

2. No Loose Trash or Open Bags

Please ensure all trash is properly bagged and that no loose items are left in the container. While our NiteHawk team may occasionally remove small loose items at their discretion, we strongly encourage all waste to be securely bagged. This helps protect the health and safety of our staff and ensures cleaner, more efficient service for everyone in your community.

3. Double-Bag Pet Waste & Diapers

These items must be double-bagged to contain odor and avoid hazardous exposure.

4. Do Not Place Sharp Objects in Bags

Needles, broken glass, or sharp metal must be disposed of safely outside the valet system.

5. No Leaking or Oversized Bags

Ensure your bags do not contain liquids and do not exceed 30 pounds.

6. Place Trash in the Approved Spot

Trash must be placed at your doorstep or designated area as outlined by your property.

7. No Recyclables in Trash Bags

Please separate recyclables as directed by your property; bags with mixed contents may not be collected.

8. No Liquids in Trash Bags

Liquids can leak and cause stains or damage to apartment sidewalks and breezeways and be hazardous to our staff and company property.

9. No Hazardous or Medical Waste

These materials are not allowed and pose serious health and safety risks.

Every night, our employees handle hundreds of bags, and improperly disposed waste — especially liquids, sharp objects, or biohazards — can cause real harm. Leaking bags, in particular, can permanently stain walkways and create slip hazards for both residents and staff.

By ensuring your trash is bagged properly, placed out on time, and free of dangerous materials, you help us keep your community clean, safe, and beautiful. It also allows us to complete routes efficiently and provide consistent, on-time service to everyone.

1. What time should I place my trash outside?

Please have your bagged trash out by 7:00 PM Monday through Friday, and by 6:00 PM on Sundays.

2. Where should I place my trash for pickup?

Set your bagged trash outside your door in your trash bin, directly in front of your unit — not blocking walkways or stairwells.

3. What type of bags should I use?

Use tied, leak-proof bags. Double-bag any pet waste or sharp materials for safety.

4. Do I need to use a trash can?

Yes, please place your trash bags inside of your trash bin. If you have more than 1 bag, please place your other bags of trash next to your trash bin.

5. What items are not allowed?

We can’t take hazardous waste, loose trash, broken glass, oversized items, electronics, or recyclables mixed with regular waste.

6. What happens during bad weather?

We operate during rain, snow, and heat, but will pause service during flood warnings, tornado alerts, or other dangerous conditions. Service will resume on the next safe evening.

7. No Recyclables in Trash Bags

Please separate recyclables as directed by your property; bags with mixed contents may not be collected.

8. Can I put out boxes or large items?

Please break down boxes and do not leave bulky or heavy items that are too large for our NightHawks to carry. For special disposal, contact your property management.

9. How do I report a missed pickup or issue?

Use our easy resident request form on the NightHawk App to let us know — no account needed.

10. What if the compactor or dumpster is full or broken?

We’ll notify your apartment manager and resume service as soon as access is restored.

Weather Policy

We run in rain, snow, heat, and most types of weather to ensure consistent service.

However, for the safety of our team, we do not pick up during:

Tornado warnings
Flash flood warnings
Other hazardous conditions (as determined by local authorities)

If service is delayed due to severe weather, we’ll make every effort to resume promptly once conditions are safe. However, if it becomes too late in the evening to complete pickup, we will resume service on the next available pickup date out of respect for our residents' peace and quiet during nighttime hours.

Compactor / Dumpster Issues

If the compactor or dumpster is full, locked, or out of service, we’ll notify property management right away so the issue can be resolved quickly. For safety and efficiency, trash pickup may temporarily be paused and will resume on the next available service night once access is restored.
