Simple Trash Rules & Guidelines

1. Tie All Bags Securely

Please ensure all trash bags are tightly tied to prevent spills or leaks during pickup.

2. No Loose Trash or Open Bags

Please ensure all trash is properly bagged and that no loose items are left in the container. While our NiteHawk team may occasionally remove small loose items at their discretion, we strongly encourage all waste to be securely bagged. This helps protect the health and safety of our staff and ensures cleaner, more efficient service for everyone in your community.

3. Double-Bag Pet Waste & Diapers

These items must be double-bagged to contain odor and avoid hazardous exposure.

4. Do Not Place Sharp Objects in Bags

Needles, broken glass, or sharp metal must be disposed of safely outside the valet system.

5. No Leaking or Oversized Bags

Ensure your bags do not contain liquids and do not exceed 30 pounds.

6. Place Trash in the Approved Spot

Trash must be placed at your doorstep or designated area as outlined by your property.

7. No Recyclables in Trash Bags

Please separate recyclables as directed by your property; bags with mixed contents may not be collected.

8. No Liquids in Trash Bags

Liquids can leak and cause stains or damage to apartment sidewalks and breezeways and be hazardous to our staff and company property.

9. No Hazardous or Medical Waste

These materials are not allowed and pose serious health and safety risks.
